An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Little Miss Thoroughbred, the 1938 John Farrow adorable juvenile horse racing gambling melodrama ("From the story by Albert Demond"; about an orphan girl who wants a gambler to adopt her) starring John Litel, Ann Sheridan, Frank McHugh, Janet Chapman (in the title role), and Eric Stanley. Note that Janet Chapman was six years old and she got a big break with the lead part in this movie. But her career never really took off, and after appearing in 15 movies, mostly in tiny roles as children, she retired at the age of 14. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this window card! Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: very good. The card had some darkening, and someone lightly bleached the card, which removed most of the darkening, but the background is now quite white (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
