An Original Vintage Folded Stage Play Poster (measures 23 3/4" x 32 1/4" [60 x 82 cm]) (Learn More)

Penelope, the 1913 French stage play opera production (based on the epic Greek poem, Homer's Odyssey; adapted by Rene Fauchois with music by Gabriel Faure). Note that this poster features Georges Rochegrosse artwork of Odysseus (called Ulysses in Roman versions) slaying the suitors that were besieging his wife, Penelope.

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this poster, and that was 8 years ago! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster has the most minor of fold and border wear and it is overall in excellent condition, especially given its age!
