An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 9 1/4" [20 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Camelot, the 1967 Joshua Logan England medieval Knights-of-the-Round-Table romantic fantasy comedy musical melodrama ("A whole new world of magnificent musical entertainment"; "Based on the play 'Camelot'"; "From 'The Once And Future King' by T.H. White"; "Screenplay and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner") starring Richard Harris (as King Arthur), Vanessa Redgrave ("is Guenevere"; of course, the usual spelling is "Guinevere"), Franco Nero (as Lancelot Du Lac), David Hemmings (as Mordred), Lionel Jeffries, Laurence Naismith (as Merlyn), and Estelle Winwood NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still was issued when Camelot was released, but it shows a scene of Jack Warner receiving his Best Picture Oscar for My Fair Lady, along with Rex Harrison and George Cukor, who also won theirs (Audrey Hepburn did NOT win, but she kindly posed with the others). The producers of Camelot were wanting to indicate that this movie was a successor to "My Fair Lady", no doubt to try to have as many people go to Camelot as had gone to My Fair Lady! So it IS a candid image from My Fair Lady, but it was released in 1968 to promote Camelot. Note that this still measures 8" x 9 1/4" [20 x 23 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Condition: good to very good. There is a diagonal crease in the top right corner and two faint brown stains at top center. Learn More about condition grades
