An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Putney Swope, the cult classic 1969 Robert Downey Sr. advertising outrageous black sexploitation comedy ("Up Madison Ave."; "The Truth and Soul Movie"; about a black African American man who accidentally takes over a major Madison Avenue advertising agency and makes massive changes, starting with removing all of the white executives and replacing them with black ones, except for a single "token" white man) starring Arnold Johnson (in the title role as Putney Swope), Allan Arbus, Eddie Gordon, Chuck Green, Laura Greene, and Walter Jones. Note that director Downey re-dubbed all of star Arnold Johnson's lines! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster looks like it SHOULD be a teaser (due to the lack of credits), but there is no poster WITH credits, so we do not consider it a teaser (there is a different second style, but the only difference is that it doesn't have the "Up Madison Ave." tagline and that the image is larger).
