Note that this film is the first adaptation of Thomas Harris' book that introduces the infamous character, Dr. Hannibal Lector. It has since been re-made with Anthony Hopkins as Lector, titled under the novel's original name, "Red Dragon". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
