Potter hypochondriac military soldier artist romantic insurance fraud comedy melodrama ("Love that leaves you limp with laughter!"; "Romance with a twinkle in its eye!"; "Written by Bess Taffel"; "Lady, your intentions are showing!"; "He's in love with an artist! She's in love with her art!"; about an ex-soldier who thinks he is dying, and he meets a beautiful young artist who lives with her kid brother and he decides to take out a huge insurance policy and then have himself killed by hitmen, so the girl and her brother will have a great life after he is gone; he learns he is NOT dying, and tries to call off the hitmen, but they are not so easily stopped; this was a comedy, but it has many film-noir elements, and even has a bizarre nightmare sequence!) starring Bill Williams, Barbara Hale, Lanny Rees, Sam Levene, Dan Tobin, and Nestor Paiva. Important Added Info: Note that this still is a key book still, mounted to a linen backing. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic.
