An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) I Am Suzanne!, the 1933 Rowland V. Lee romantic love triangle musical ("Youth... love... melody!"; about an injured pretty dancer who is in love with a puppeteer who mostly communicates through his puppets, which makes her very jealous; there is a fantasy dream sequence where a marionette puppet version of the girl is put on trial by king and queen puppets!) starring Lilian Harvey (in the title role as Suzanne), Gene Raymond, Leslie Banks, Scotty Beckett, Georgia Caine, and "Podrecca's Piccoli Marionettes". Note that if this movie seems extremely familiar, it is because most of the plot was borrowed many years later for the movie "Lili" with Leslie Caron and Mel Ferrer! Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this scene card, and that example has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still the only example we have ever auctioned! Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine.
