Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Mexican Movie Poster (measures 27" x 36 1/2") (Learn More) Yo Soy Mexicano de Aca de Este Lado (literally translates to "I Am Mexican From Here on This Side"; also released as "Linda Mujer", which translates to "Cute Woman"), the 1952 Miguel Contreras Torres Mexican crime thriller (about a nightclub singer who falls in love with a wastrel, and they pretend to be married, and face the consequences) starring Rosa Carmina, Roberto Canedo, Rodolfo Acosta, Arturo Soto Rangel, and Dolores Camarillo. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this Mexican poster measures 27" x 36 1/2" and is linenbacked. Also note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster was never folded. There are faint scuffs throughout the image. There was darkening and tiny paper loss around the edges of the poster. The poster was well backed, and looks nice!
