Learn More UPDATED 11/30/2010: Note that a knowledgeable collector informed us that the artist for this poster is Leopoldo Mendoza instead of Mendoza Stic and 1950 was the year of first release. STIC-46 apparently stands for Sindicato de Trabajadores de la Industria Cinematographers (Section 46) and was not the artists last name and year as we originally believed. Condition: good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. There were some smudges and scuffs scattered in the image and some stains and small areas of paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster seems to have been backed fairly well, but bizarrely, the restorer simply put white paint over the border defects, and in a few places in the image, and it is quite noticeable (I don't know how easy it would be for another restorer to perform further restoration on this poster, and whether it could be done without re-backing it, but the poster still displays pretty well as it is).
