Note that for many years, it was believed that the author of the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird", Harper Lee, had only written this one book and never wrote another (she was childhood friends with Truman Capote, and most believe John Megna's character in the movie is based on Capote, and some believe that Capote helped Lee write the novel). But in 2014, it was discovered that Lee had written an earlier novel, called "Go Set a Watchman", before "To Kill a Mockingbird", but it was never published until 2015, and was published exactly as it was written, in 2015 (Lee was 88 years old at the time of publishing, and did not publicize the "new" book)! Our consignor was a longtime collector, and this autograph was obtained in person when Gregory Peck visited the Hancher Auditorium in Iowa City in 1995, and it was personalized to our consignor's wife (sadly, both our consignor and his wife have passed away). While it does not have a certificate of authenticity, we are certain that signature is authentic. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.
