An Autographed Color 4" x 6" [10 x 15 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Claudia Cardinale (born Claude Josephine Rose Cardinale) was born in Tunisia to Italian parents in 1938. When she was 17, she won a Tunisian beauty contest at the Italian embassy, and the prize was a trip to Rome, where she was signed to a contract. But she became pregnant out of wedlock at that time, and she secretly gave birth to a boy, and he was raised as her younger brother, and did not learn she was his mother until he was 19! She became an international star in 1963 after her role in 8 1/2. Some of her other movies include: Once Upon a Time in the West, The Professionals, and Big Deal on Madonna Street. As of 2022, she is still alive at the age of 84! Important Added Info: Note that this still, which measures 4" x 6" [10 x 15 cm], has been personally autographed (signed) by Claudia Cardinale! Note that our consignor purchased this REPRODUCTION through the mail from a reputable seller, but they don't have a "certificate of authenticity", however, our consignor and we believe it to be an authentic autograph! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall!
