An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Convention Girl, the 1935 Luther Reed Atlantic City New Jersey romantic love triangle gambling melodrama (about a pretty young girl who works in Atlantic City keeping rich convention goers entertained, and she has a romance with a handsome young gambler and also with a rich soap tycoon) starring Rose Hobart, Weldon Heyburn, Sally O'Neil, Herbert Rawlinson, Isham Jones & His Orchestra, Nell O'Day, Shemp Howard, and "Ned Wayburn's Dancing Girls". Note that this movie was an unauthorized partial remake of Warner Bros.' 1933 movie "Convention City", which had an extremely similar plot. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: very good. The card has darkened around the edges and there are some tiny tears and paper loss in the bottom right blank corner, but otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition!
