An Autographed Autographed 6" x 8 1/2" [15 x 22 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More)

James Whitmore was an actor from the 1950s to the 2000s. Throughout his long career, he alternated between TV, the Broadway stage, and Hollywood. Some of his movies include: The Shawshank Redemption, Battleground (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Tora! Tora! Tora!, and Give 'em Hell, Harry! (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; the film version of his one-man stage show, where he portrayed President Harry Truman). He was also memorable on a 1963 episode of "The Twilight Zone", playing "Captain Benteen", the captain of a group of shipwrecked survivors of a space ship crash on a distant planet! Whitmore passed away in 2009 at the age of 87.

Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by James Whitmore! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! Note that the still has been trimmed and it measures 6" x 8 1/2".

Condition: good to very good. The top border has been trimmed and there is a piece of clear tape on the front and back of the right corners.
