The Fabulous Joe, the 1948 Harve Foster talking canine dog fantasy comedy ("A howleroo that could happen to you!"; "Men!! If your wife browbeats you... Women!! If your husband cheats you... Dogs!! If your owner's a dope... you must see The Fabulous Joe"; produced by Bebe Daniels) starring Walter Abel, Margot Grahame, Marie Wilson, Donald Meek, Nana Bryant, and Sheldon Leonard. Note that the posters for this movie say "Hal Roach presents" in large letters above the title, but the actual producer is Hal Roach, Jr., Roach's son!
