If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this Italian one-panel measures 37 1/2" x 53 1/2" and that it is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good. The poster had small tears and tiny areas of surface paper loss in parts of the vertical foldline. There were small holes at the crossfolds. There was a small amount of wear on the horizontal foldlines. There were multiple pinholes in the bottom left corner and there is tape on the bottom of the bottom blank border and in the bottom right blank corner. There are 1" x 2" pieces of white tape in the top blank corners. The person who restored the poster somewhat touched up the foldline defects, but pretty much left the borders alone. I would think most collectors could be happy displaying this poster just as it is, but certainly a good restorer could touch up the minor fold defects, and if one wanted, the poster could be re-linenbacked so as to correct the blank border defects.
