An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) She's Working her Way Through College (released in some countries as "She's Got Rhythm"), the 1952 H. Bruce Humberstone musical burlesque comedy ("Wow! Look how 'She's Working Her Way Through College'"; "This is a story with a lot of twists!"; "She's a Burlesque Queen who becomes a co-ed and gives the Student Body a brand new twist!"; "The cheerleader of musical entertainment from Warner Bros."; "Warner Bros.' Cheerleader of Music and Fun!"; "Meet Gay-Garters Gertie!"; "She's the burlesque cutie who becomes a campus queen and starts a student movement all her own!"; "She's the Burlesque Bombshell who becomes a Campus Queen!""Screen Play by Peter Milne") starring Virginia Mayo (in the title role as Angela Gardner), Ronald Reagan, Gene Nelson, Don DeFore, Phyllis Thaxter, and Patrice Wymore NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss in the top 1/4 of the vertical foldline (in the white background only), and minor wear on the foldlines. There were pinholes, creases, and tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer chose to use a lot of white paint around the edges of the poster in the white background areas, to "even them out".
