La Main du Diable (released in the U.S. as "Carnival of Sinners"), the 1943 Maurice Tourneur French horror thriller (based on the novel by Gerard de Nerval) starring Pierre Fresnay, Josseline Gael, Noel Roquevert, Guillaume de Sax, Palau, and Pierre Larquey

Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film for any country is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a single Argentinean movie poster from this and NO other movie paper from it until we were consigned this Italian poster! Virtually no Italian posters survive from during World War II since apparently there were many paper shortages in Europe during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost all posters from before and World War II, and also from during the war, and the first few years afterwards! Note also that this Italian one-sheet measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/4" [70 x 100 cm]. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The poster has creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges and several defects are repaired with tape from the back (and paper in some cases). After proper restoration the ultra rare poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
