An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) Conspirator, the 1949 Victor Saville English London Cold War romantic spy espionage crime thriller ("The man she loved was a traitor, sworn to kill her!"; "Based on the Novel by Humphrey Slater"; about a beautiful young woman who marries a much older British Army officer who turns out to be a Russian spy) starring Robert Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Flemyng, Harold Warrender, Honor Blackman, and Marjorie Fielding. Note that the plot of this movie revolves around 17 year-old Elizabeth Taylor falling in love with 38 year-old Robert Taylor, which seems pretty creepy now (and may well have been pretty creepy then!). This poster was well restored, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good.
