An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Making a Man, the 1922 Joseph Henabery silent riches-to-rags romantic comedy ("From a story by Peter B. Kyne"; about a rich California man who is rejected by a beautiful woman, and then he loses much of his wealth when the tenants on his property revolt, and he goes to New York, where he loses the rest of his money, and he is befriended by park bum, but it all works out, because when the woman who rejected him sees him cleaning dishes in a restaurant, she realizes she truly loves him!) starring Jack Holt, J.P. Lockney, Eva Novak, Bert Woodruff, and Frank Nelson. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good to very good. The black tape is missing from the right side. There is slight smudging on the glass (it is not very distracting, and it could likely be cleaned). Otherwise, the slide is in pretty nice condition!
