An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

21 Days (released in the U.S. as "21 Days Together"), the 1940 Basil Dean English romantic crime murder thriller ("Excitingly Together!"; with a screenplay partly by Graham Greene, "Based on a story by John Galsworthy"; a man is accused of murder, and is given 21 days to prepare for his trial, and during that time he falls in love, and his girlfriend at first believes he is innocent, but as the days pass, she begins to have doubts) starring Vivien Leigh, Laurence Olivier, Leslie Banks, Francis L. Sullivan, and David Horne. Note that this film was completed in 1937 but was not released until after the success of Vivien Leigh in Gone with the Wind and Laurence Olivier in Wuthering Heights (and they had also recently divorced their respective spouses and married each other).

Important Added Info:

Note that this lobby card is from a special collection of 41 scene lobby cards, all of which are from Laurence Olivier movies (and each is in its own auction)! The collector who assembled this collection spent DECADES searching out scene cards from as many of Laurence Olivier's movies as he could find, and he always tried to find the best scene in the best condition, and he mostly found first release cards. 40 of the 41 cards show Olivier (most of them an excellent image of him). The one exception is the card from THE YELLOW TICKET, which does not show Olivier (it is extremely early in his career, and it is not clear how many cards, if any, he is shown on). This is a rare opportunity to acquire one or more scene cards of Laurence Olivier, who many have called the finest actor of all time!

Condition: very good to fine. Note that this lobby card is in excellent condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card!
