Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The top two-thirds of the poster had pretty minor fold wear. The bottom one-third had tears and areas of paper loss on parts of the folds. It had many scuffs scattered in all the solid black areas and staining and surface paper loss at the right end of the lower right inset image. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
