If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare Italian poster from during World War II, which we have never auctioned before! Virtually no Italian posters survive from before, during, or right after World War II (mostly only some heavy stock lobby cards, and even those are rare). Apparently there were many paper shortages in Italy during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost all posters from before World War II, and also from during the war, and the first few years afterwards! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had many tears and areas of paper loss in the top quarter of the vertical fold and the left half of the top fold, with some on all the other folds and some darkening on parts of the folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
