An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 41 3/4") (Learn More) La Chinoise (literally translates to "The Chinese"), the 1967 Jean-Luc Godard French college-students-studying-Mao-and-wanting-to-change-the-world-through-terrorism relationship comedy melodrama starring Anne Wiazemsky, Jean-Pierre Leaud, Juliet Berto, Michel Semeniako, and Lex De Brujin. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster measures 27" x 41". It is either a U.S. one-sheet that used most of the image and writing from the original French poster, or it is a French poster that was printed in U.S. one-sheet size! We think the former is more likely, so we have listed it that way. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded in half an extra time and there were creases, small tears, and some tiny areas of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. There was a 3" tear near the center of the poster in the girl's hair. There are some faint scuffs throughout the poster. There were some creases, tears, stains, and areas of surface paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
