An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Thirty by Forty Movie Poster (30x40; measures 30" x 40" [76 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Guns, Girls, and Gangsters, the 1959 Edward L. Cahn Las Vegas Nevada bank-robbing crime thriller ("A Cheating Blonde... A Crazed Con... The Biggest Armored-Car Robbery in History!"; "Blonde Hell-Cat on the Prowl!"; "Blonde Dynamite!"; "A double-crossing gang queen... clawing and caressing her way into a two million dollar heist!"; about a group of criminals planning to rob a truck containing casino money) starring Mamie Van Doren, Gerald Mohr, Lee Van Cleef, Grant Richards, Elaine Edwards, and John Baer. Note that this movie sounds like a rip-off of Ocean's 11, but actually, this movie predates that movie! However, Ocean's 11 went into production in 1958, so one suspects that the producers of this movie learned of that and then rushed this movie out before Ocean's 11! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this 30x40 is a silkscreen printed poster with an actual photo which has neatly been "tipped in" (glued to the upper right of the poster). This is how almost all 30x40s were made at this time! Paper banners were also commonly made in this way at that time, and it makes for a striking poster, and few people would realize that it is not printed on a single piece, unless they examine the poster closely. Note that the silkscreen portions of this poster usually pick up scuff marks far more easily than other posters of this period (this was caused by the method of silkscreen printing, and is very common on these posters, and is not considered a major defect, unless it is very noticeable or distracting). Condition: good. There is surface paper loss and a tape stain at upper left in Van Doren's arm and there are some areas of surface paper loss scattered throughout the poster (mostly at upper left). There are some creases, smudges, and scuff marks scattered throughout the poster. Learn More about condition grades
