The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster also had a diagonal crease in the upper right running through Welles' forehead. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
