2 Original Vintage Theatrical Lobby Cards (Measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Subterraneans, the 1960 Ranald MacDougall teen beatnik counter-culture romantic melodrama ("Love among the new Bohemians!"; "Based on the novel by Jack Kerouac") starring Leslie Caron (as Mardou Fox), George Peppard (as Leo Percepied), Janice Rule, Roddy McDowall, Gerry Mulligan (best jazz saxophone player of his era who appeared in four movies, playing a saxophone!), Carmen McRae, and Andre Previn. Note that in the novel, Mardou was black, however for the movie version she was made French!

Condition: very good. Both cards have a few minor stains in the blank borders. Card #5 (close-up of two stars) has several pairs of staple holes in the edges of the image background and two pencil marks in the top center of the image background.
