A 1946 Re-release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Twenty Girls and a Band, the 1938 Leslie Goodwins musical romantic comedy short starring Nick Stuart, Betty Jane Rhodes, Bobby Barber, Georgia Cane, Fern Emmett, and Etta McDaniel. Note that this musical short was first released in 1938, and then RKO re-released it to theaters in 1946, with new posters (it seems unusual for a short to get a second release). If anyone knows more about this short or why it was re-released, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had minor fold and border wear. There were some faint smudges scattered throughout the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty nicely backed, and but the restorer did not address the faint smudges (which truly are not very distracting at all). Learn More about condition grades
