An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 9 3/4" x 13" [25 x 33 cm]) (Learn More)

The Bat, the 1926 Roland West silent crime horror mystery melodrama ("A comedy mystery drama by Mary Roberts Rinehart and Avery Hopwood"; "From the stage play produced by Wagenhals and Kemper"; about a group of people who are guests of a mystery writer at a spooky old house, and a master criminal dresses up as a giant bat and terrorizes everyone!; to make the movie more "spooky", almost all the scenes were shot at night) starring Jack Pickford, Louise Fazenda, Eddie Gribbon, George Beranger, and Charles Herzinger. Note that the director virtually remade the movie in a sound version four years later as "The Bat Whispers".
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 9 3/4" x 13" [25 x 33 cm] and it has been mounted to a cardboard backing. Also note that this lobby card has been laminated! It is quite likely that there is no way to reverse this process. However, I have seen many lobby cards that have been laminated for over 20 years, and the lamination does not hurt the cards in any way, plus it seems to completely protect them, while allowing them to be easily displayed with no fear of damage. HOWEVER, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS LOBBY CARD UNLESS YOU WANT TO PURCHASE A LAMINATED LOBBY CARD!

Condition: good. The borders of the card have been trimmed and it has been laminated and mounted to a white cardboard backing. It appears that the card was cut in a vertical line at right at one time prior to being mounted to the cardboard.
