An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Robert Stack was an eternally youthful TV and movie actor from the 1930s to the 2000s. Some of his roles include: To Be or Not to Be, The Mortal Storm, The High and the Mighty, Written On The Wind (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), The Last Voyage, and he had a great success late in his career with a comedy appearance in Airplane! He is probably best remembered for his role as Eliot Ness in TV's "The Untouchables", and as the host of TV's "Unsolved Mysteries". He passed away in 2003 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Robert Stack! Also note that this still measures 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Note that our consignor was a major collector of autographs (mostly on stills, both vintage and repro), and he would go to events or conventions where stars would appear in person and that is how he acquired the signatures on this item. We feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic (and it was likely acquired in person), but we do not have a certificate of authenticity.
