While best remembered for her role in King Kong, she was a major star in the 1920s and 1930s, so it is very unfair that she is solely remembered for that one movie! She also had roles in other great movies, including: The Wedding March, The Most Dangerous Game, and The Bowery. She passed away in 2004 at the age of 96. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION photo has been personally autographed (signed) by Fay Wray! We are guessing that it is from the 1960s, but it could be earlier. We would be surprised if it could be from when the movie first came out, and we would also be surprised if it was from later than the 1980s. Our consignor is in the movie business and he obtained this autograph in person, and it is personalized to him. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
