A Story To Stun The Senses!"; "The most horror-dripping tale ever written!"; "It's Ten Times The Terror in Technicolor !"; "Never has the night known a beast like this!"; "It's the picture about that bone-chilling Howl!"; "Haunting, Horrifying, Howling Terror"; "More terror-ific in Technicolor"; "Based on the novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle") starring Peter Cushing (as Sherlock Holmes), Andre Morell (as Doctor Watson), Christopher Lee (as Sir Henry Baskerville), Marla Landi, and David Oxley. Note that there were many movies based on this classic novel, but the most memorable one was the 1939 version, which starred Basil Rathbone, and led to a long series of sequels. Important Added Info: There are many small tears, creases, smudges, and faint stains around the edges of the poster. There are many creases and scuff marks throughout the poster, but they are truly not all that distracting. They are most noticeable in the dark areas of the letters of the title. There is a semi-circular area of paper loss in the left of the bottom border, just extending into the very edge of the background. Overall, the defects are not that distracting, and I could well imagine many collectors displaying this cool poster! Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing, but a very few were left unfolded. An unfolded poster from before 1980 is almost always far more difficult to find than a folded poster of the same title, and finding unfolded posters in excellent condition is even more difficult!
