Important Added Info: Note that this record is for "radio spots", which were sent to movie theaters during the major 1968 re-release of this classic movie. We can't say 100% for certain that this is from the 1968 re-release, but we found a very similar record online that had radio spots for Planet of the Apes from 1968, and it had a catalog number very close to this one, so we feel pretty certain it is from the 1968 re-release. It was designed to give to their local radio stations to get publicity for the about to be shown movie, and is much more rare than commercial records for those movies. The record is labeled with what the individual spots contain, so see our super-sized image to see what radio spots are included. Also note that the record is contained in a single blank white paper sleeve. We don't know if it was originally sent in any additional packaging. The auction contains the record in a single blank paper sleeve. Condition: very good. We have no way of verifying if the record is playable, but it appears to be. Learn More about condition grades
