We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning, and now that very same poster has been reconsigned to us for this auction, so it is still the only example we have ever auctioned! What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and pretty minor fold wear. It had some pinholes and stains in the blank borders, with tiny paper loss in two places in the bottom border, and paper loss in the top right blank corner. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to paperbacking. Someone paperbacked the poster and performed restoration to the image area only, likely rightfully assuming the border defects will not show when the poster is framed.
