Alexandre Dumas' Lady in the Iron Mask, the 1952 Ralph Murphy France historical musketeer adventure thriller ("The all-thrilling, all-in-color adventures of the three musketeers... and that swaggering, swashbuckling son-of-the-sword, D'Artagnan!"; "Written by Jack Pollexin and Aubrey Wisberg"; "Color by Natural Color"; "An adaptation from Alexandre Dumas' Lady in the Iron Mask") starring Louis Hayward (as D'Artagnan), Patricia Medina (in the title role as the Lady in the Iron Mask), John Sutton, Steve Brodie (as Athos), Alan Hale Jr. (best remembered as The Skipper on TV's Gilligan's Island; as Porthos), Judd Holdren (as Aramis), Hal Gerard, Lester Matthews, Gavin Muir, Robert Bice, John Dehner, Marlyn O'Dwyer, and Tor Johnson. Note that the posters for this movie say that it is adapted from Alexandre Dumas' story, but the studio was taking liberties with their wording because Alexandre Dumas never wrote such a story, and the studio apparently figured it was OK to imply that he did because this film is based on his characters! The writers of this film were Jack Pollexfen and Aubrey Wisberg.

Condition: very good. pair of staple holes in the upper left and right corners as well as a tack hole in the center of the top edge of the image background; light tape stains in the lower right blank corner; a few minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the card (mostly around the edges)
