Important Added Info: Note that this is surely a re-release poster, but given that Hitchcock was not pictured on hardly any posters for his movies until after 1960, we think it is also quite possible this poster is from a very early 1960s (we have seen versions with 1962 overprinted) Belgian re-release (because after the huge success of "Psycho", Hitchcock himself started turning up on most re-release posters. Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 13" x 22" [33 x 56 cm]. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Note that this item (and others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from the estate of Lee Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a nationally recognized projectionist, film poster collector, and union activist who passed away last year, and the net proceeds from the sale of his varied and eclectic collection will be donated to promote film studies at the Besant School of Happy Valley in Ojai, Ca. Condition: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards).
