An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 7 1/2" x 10 1/4" [19 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Ann Harding was a popular actress from 1929 to the 1950s. She specialized in playing strong leading ladies who often did not need men in their lives, and she certainly helped inspire the feminist movement! Her first movie was "Paris Bound" in 1929. Some of her other movies include: It Happened on 5th Avenue, The Magnificent Yankee, When Ladies Meet, Christmas Eve, The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit, and Holiday (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film). She passed away in 1981 at the age of 79. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Ann Harding! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/2" x 10 1/4" [19 x 26 cm]. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: fair to good.
