An Unfolded Austrian Advertising Poster (measures 37 1/2" x 49 3/4" [95 x 126 cm]) (Learn More)

Mora Moravia is a Czech manufacturer of kitchen appliances which was founded in 1825 by Josef Zverina. The company started as an ironwork but began production of stoves in 1861, and eventually produced many other household appliances (sewing machines, meat grinders, washing machines, et cetera) over the years. The appliance most commonly associated with them is the Meteor stove which they patented in 1902.
Artist: Adolf Karpellus
Important Added Info: Note that this Austrian advertising poster, which is from around 1910, shows freezing soldiers trying to keep warm while holding signs that show Mora Moarvia stoves, obviously wanting them to alleviate their discomfort! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded across the middle only. It has creases and scuffs along that fold, with a small tear. It has a stain in the top right blank corner, and it has a similar stain in the lower right border, with a stain in the bottom right of the image that affects the bottom of the left of the second "A" of "MORAVIA" (see our image).
