An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Japanese Movie Poster (measures 20" x 28 1/2") (Learn More) Dodesukaden (released in the U.S. in 1971 as "Akira Kurosawa's Dodes'Ka-Den"), the 1970 Akira Kurosawa Japanese Tokyo slice-of-life poverty fantasy melodrama ("Akira Kurosawa's first film in color"; "The sound of the trolley"; based on the book by Shoguro Yamamoto) starring Yoshitaka Zushi, Kin Sugai, Kazuo Kato, Junzaburo Ban, and Kiyoko Tange NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Akira Kurosawa Important Added Info: Note that this poster features artwork by director, Akira Kurosawa (whose printed signature is on the artwork in the middle of this poster)! Also note that this poster was never folded. Condition: fine. there are a few minor creases and faint stains in the left blank border; there are a couple of light partial horizontal creases (more like "bends", rather than creases) 1/3 and 2/3 of the way down the poster, as though it had once been lightly tri-folded.
