An Autographed 3" x 5" [8 x 13 cm] Index Card (Learn More) David Letterman is a comedian and talk show host from the 1970s to the present. His dream was to eventually host The Tonight Show (because his idol was Johnny Carson), and he was prepared to do anything to get it, but alas, it will never happen! He did however host "The Late Show" for 23 years, retiring from the job in 2015. As of 2021, Letterman is still alive at the age of 72! Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by David Letterman. The index card could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Note that the index card comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from Daniel Cohen Autographs & Memorabilia. Note that this autographed item (and many others in this set of auctions, all of which have this same paragraph on them) come from the collection of a man who recently passed away. He was confined to a wheelchair, but that did not stop him from attending all of the major collectible shows in the Northeast, including the Chiller Conventions! He would obtain many signed items from the celebrities in attendance (they sometimes personalized the autographs to him, and his name was "Jimmy"), and he also purchased a few signed items from celebrities through the mail. In the case of the items purchased through the mail, he would usually also get a "certificate of authenticity". Our consignor (and we) believe that all of the signed items from this collection have authentic signatures. Condition: very good to fine. The index card is in nice condition!
