The poster had an oval-shaped area of paper loss near the middle of the right border, extending into the edge of the hat that Arthur is holding. There was a similar area of paper loss 6" above that, extending into the background and a thin strip of paper loss near the bottom of the right border, slightly extending into the edge of the title box in two places. There was paper loss in the top of the right blank border, and larger paper loss in the left of the top blank area. There were some extra folds and creases running horizontally across the image, but they are not very noticeable at all. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see slight signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
