An Original 1965 (from the first release of this movie in Spain) Vintage Theatrical Folded Spanish Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/4" [70 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) Lo Sceicco Bianco (released in the U.S. as "The White Sheik"), the 1952 Federico Fellini Italian Arabian romantic love triangle marriage adventure comedy ("A very funny picture by Federico Fellini"; written by Michelangelo Antonioni; about a woman on her honeymoon, who happens to be where a famous Latin lover movie star is filming a movie, and she imagines being with him instead of her dull husband) starring Alberto Sordi (in the title role as The White Sheik), Brunella Bovo, Leopoldo Trieste, Ernesto Almirante, Lilia Landi, Fanny Marchio, Gina Mascetti, Jole Silvani, Enzo Maggio, Anna Primula, Mimo Billi, Armando Libianchi, and Giulietta Masina. Note that this was the first feature film that Fellini directed entirely by himself, and that the idea for this movie was given to Fellini by Michelangelo Antonioni! Artist: Emerio Important Added Info: Note that this movie played in Spain in 1959 at a film festival, but we highly doubt that any posters were created for that film festival release, and this poster is for the first regular Spanish release in 1965. Condition: fair. The poster has MANY very large tears around the edges and along the vertical foldline as well as slight discoloration throughout due to exposure to moisture. Many of the tears are repaired with tape from the back and amateur restoration was performed to those areas as well (see our image).
