An Autographed Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) William Shatner is a Canadian actor from the 1950s to the present. He was 27 when he made The Brothers Karamazov, and he had already spent five years appearing on TV shows. It seemed like this first movie role might be a big break for him, but it was not to be and he returned to TV for 8 more years, including memorable appearances in episodes of The Twilight Zone. In 1966, when he was 35, and it appeared his career might be winding down, he was cast as Captain Kirk in "Star Trek" (a replacement for Jeffrey Hunter, who had starred in the pilot as "Captain Pike", but was no longer available) and that propelled Shatner to stardom. He is also remembered for his role as Denny Crane in the "Boston Legal" TV series. His early acting is often parodied due to his overuse of dramatic pauses when speaking his lines. As of 2021, Shatner is still alive at the age of 90! Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by William Shatner! Our consignor obtained this autograph through the mail when he had correspondence with Mr. Shatner in the 1984. Note that he notes that Mr. Shatner was very self conscious of his appearance, and would not be photographed with his reading glasses. Our consignor found this repro showing his reading glasses and sent it to Mr. Shatner, afraid that he would not sign it, but Mr. Shatner did, and it is the only signed still our consignor has seen that shows him with his reading glasses! Condition: good to very good. The signature has several smudges scattered throughout but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
