An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) That Certain Woman, the 1937 Edmund Goulding rich man/poor girl romantic melodrama ("She gave the man she loved to the woman she hated"; about a legal secretary who marries the son of one of her firm's biggest clients, and the father has the marriage annulled, not knowing that the young woman is pregnant) starring Bette Davis ("America's Greatest Actress in the Greatest Role of Her Career!"), Henry Fonda, Ian Hunter, Anita Louise, Donald Crisp, Hugh O'Connell, and Ben Welden NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned three first release lobby cards from this movie (and two "other company" cards), and we have never before auctioned THIS scene card! Note that this card has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card has darkened, typical of Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period. It has two diagonal creases in the bottom right corner with an uneven 4" tear near the middle of the right border that has some tiny surface paper loss on the tear, and someone put tape on the back of that area. There is surface paper loss and tiny paper loss in the top right blank corner. There is a 1/2" tear and scratch marks in the right of the top blank border and there is a tiny piece of tape on the back of the tear. There is a diagonal crease in the bottom left corner. The new owner of this card might choose to leave it as is, or obviously, restoration could be performed, but bear the above in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
