Important Added Info: Note that we believe this "country of origin" poster is from the very first Italian release of this classic Italian movie, based on the tagline which translates to "Their names and their faces will become familiar as those of the most famous movie actors", which certainly became true as this is considered a classic Italian film! Note that Italian posters from the first few years after World War II are among the most rare posters there are! Apparently, there were still major paper shortages in Italy, and few posters were printed, and most were recycled. So not only is this is an extremely rare first release Italian poster from 1946, but it is from one of the most famous Neo-Realist Italian movies ever! We have only auctioned it once before, and that example sold for $1,940! Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes and some small tears around the edges, with tiny paper loss in the top blank corners, where pins were roughly removed. There are a few faint smudges and stains scattered in the poster. The poster had some separation on parts of the folds, and someone put some pieces of brown paper tape on the back of small parts of the folds, and also on the back of some of the pinholes.
