An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39 3/4") (Learn More)

Gates of Heaven, the classic 1980 Errol Morris pet cemetery documentary ("Death is for the living and not the dead so much.") featuring a bunch of pet owners who lost their pets, a man who works at a rendering plant, and a family who owns a lavish pet cemetery. There are those (myself included) who consider this the finest documentary ever made!
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 27 1/2" x 39 3/4". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41".

Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. There were creases and fine surface paper loss along most foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). The title of the movie was written on the back of the poster, and this falls just above the right half of the top horizontal foldline. You can see it very slightly when the poster is held to the light, but otherwise, it is hardly noticeable at all. There was a faint diagonal crease across the bottom right of the image and title. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well.
