Date Sold 6/11/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 7 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Heart Raider, the 1923 Wesley Ruggles silent romantic love triangle woman driver comedy ("From a story by Harry Durant and Julie Herne"; the stereotype of woman being "bad" drivers was already firmly in place in 1923; in this movie, a rich man has a daughter who is a reckless driver, and he takes out special insurance to cover any damage she causes, and the insurance company gets tired of paying claims, so they hire a man to romance her so she will settle down!) starring Mahlon Hamilton, Charles Ruggles, Marie Burke, Charles Riegel, and Helen Morgan (uncredited in her first movie role!). Note that only extreme film buffs know it, but director Wesley Ruggles was actor Charlie Ruggles' brother! They only worked together in this movie and a second one "Invitation to Happiness", 16 years later! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned ANY U.S. movie paper for this film before (and we have only auctioned one Swiss poster for the movie). Condition: good. Each has some degree of light rippling and slight discoloration scattered in various areas due to exposure to moisture (see our images).
