An Autographed 3" x 5" [8 x 13 cm] Index Card (Learn More) Jason Robards Jr. was a stage and movie actor from the 1940s to the 1990s. His father was major silent stage and screen star, Jason Robards Sr. He had limited success in New York City in theater, TV, and radio before becoming a star with his lead role on the stage in "The Iceman Cometh", which he immediately followed with the lead role in "Long Day's Journey Into Night" (both plays by Eugene O'Neill). He was married to Lauren Bacall for many years. Some of his movies include: Melvin & Howard (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Once Upon a Time in the West, A Thousand Clowns, Toys in the Attic, All The President's Men (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and Julia (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film). He passed away in 2000 at the age of 78. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Jason Robards. The index card could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer for many years. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both collectors and people who worked on movies, and in some of those collections he purchased many autographed items, and sometimes he met with celebrities and had them autograph items he owned in person. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: very good to fine.
