An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) B.B. King (nicknamed "The King of Blues") was an African American blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter from the 1940s to the 2010s. He is considered one of he greatest guitarists of all time and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. Since 1949, King has named all of his guitars "Lucille", and some of his works include: Singin' the Blues, Lucille, and Riding With the King. He passed away in 2015 at the age of 89. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by B.B. King! Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm]. Finally, note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! Note that this signed item is from the estate of Gino Empry, who was a legendary Toronto publicist and agent from the early 1960s through the early 2000s (he passed away in 2006). He had publicity photos of celebrities he worked with that were personalized to him and signed attached to his walls, and many of those were consigned to us, and while we have no certificate of authenticity, we are 100% certain they are authentic (although many have some damage that was caused by their being attached to a wall or being roughly removed). As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: fair to good. The photo has unfortunately discolored from being displayed on a wall, but it can still be displayed and enjoyed. Learn More about condition grades
