Important Added Info:

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: poor to fair. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss along most of the folds, with tears and stains around the edges. Overall, the poster was in poor to fair condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was not well backed, both because the poster is "lifting" from the linen around the edges (there is no excess), and also because the person who restored the poster tried to fix the paper loss in Keene's face by painting over a lot of it, and that did not improve that area in the slightest, and actually made it much worse. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its really significant defects.
