Important Added Info: Note that we previously auctioned six different wilding posters like these (see below for what that means) in our September Major Auction, and they sold for between $341 and $2,800. Four of those had art that made them look like "faux" movie posters for the DiCaprio character in the movie, and two of them were for individual actors (one for Margot Robbie, like this one, and the other for Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio). Those two sold for $2,800 for the Robbie one, and $1,949 for the Pitt/DiCaprio one. But both of those posters had "JULY" at the bottom. THIS wilding poster with Robbie was created before those, when the release date had not yet been set, so it says "COMING SOON" instead of "JULY". It is the same as the $2,800 Robbie poster we previously auctioned, except for the difference between "COMING SOON" and "JULY" at the bottom. Also note that we have been informed by several collectors that they believe that this poster is a "wilding" poster (one that was solely used for advance publicity, being pasted on walls around town before the movie played, just as subway posters were used in New York City many years ago), and that this poster was never sent to theaters showing the movie. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept that it is a "wilding" poster, and was not printed for use in specific theaters. Condition: very good to fine.
